Dracaena Pendant / 2008
In 2010 the Australian government phased out the sale of incandescent globes. This design is an attempt to make a feature of the spiral shaped compact fluorescent globe that has become the standard.
I was inspired by the organic shape of the dracaena plant with the compact fluorescent globe taking on the appearance of a stamen.
Ø400mm diameter pendant in thermo-formed acrylic.
